Eisenkot lands in the U.S for round of meetings with American generals

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen.Gadi Eisenkot has landed in the US on Thursday for an official working visit.

The Israeli general will be a guest of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford.

According to the IDF spokesperson unit , Eisenkot will hold working meetings with security & military officials in Washington DC to “discuss aspects of military cooperation in light of the significant security challenges in the Middle East and other issues”

While in the US the acting IDF Chief of Staff will be Deputy Chief of Staff Maj.gen Aviv Kochavi.
