England to absorb 15,000 refugees

The British government has stated they are prepared to welcome 15,000 refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria, The Sunday Times reported on Sunday.
The government also hopes to get backing for airstrikes against ISIS militants in Syria.
Prime Mister David Cameron hopes to expand the British vulnerable persons relocation program, which would allow for the influx of around 15,000 migrants, and launch military responses against human traffickers.
Britain has accepted around 200 refugees thus far, and around 5,000 Syrians have been granted asylum since 2011, AFP reported.
