Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations and the United States Gilad Erdan spoke on Kan News radio this morning and noted that Israel is opposed to reopening the Palestinian Consulate within sovereign Israel.
According to a senior official in Jerusalem, the matter also came up during the meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday, when Blinken arrived in Jerusalem to discuss the aftermath of the operation in Gaza.
