Erdogan mandates Turkish PM Davutoglu to form interim government

ANKARA - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday mandated Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to form an interim government which will lead the country to a new election, Erdogan's office said in a statement.
Erdogan formally called for a fresh parliamentary election late on Monday in a widely anticipated move after two months of coalition talks failed to produce a working government.
