Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said before the UN General Assembly in New York Tuesday 'There is a need to allow for the Palestinian people to establish a state with east Jerusalem as its capital.' He further stated that 'A two-state solution is a global commitment. Israel must respect the holiness of the Temple Mount. We will try to use the normalization of relations to assist the peace process.'
