EU's Ashton, Iran FM to resume bilateral nuclear talks in Geneva

Bilateral talks were set to continue on Thursday afternoon between UN foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif as part of the third round of negotiations in Geneva on Tehran's nuclear program.

The two met earlier Thursday following a brief first meeting Wednesday, which Ashton's spokesman Michael Mann described as "sustainable and robust".

"We entered the details of issues... but of course there are differences of opinion," Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted Zarif as saying.
