Explosion in Turkey's southeast injures 12 security forces

Twelve security force members were injured on Wednesday when a handmade bomb exploded in Turkey's southeastern town of Nusaybin during an army operation, security sources said.
Turkey's predominantly Kurdish southeast has been engulfed in the worst violence in two decades after a ceasefire between the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the state collapsed last year.
