Explosion injures three at refinery in Texas

Three people were burned - one severely - when a generator exploded on Saturday morning at the Pasadena, Texas, refinery owned by Brazil's national oil company Petrobras sources familiar with emergency operations at the plant said.
A 35,000 barrel per day (bpd) light cycle oil hydrotreater was shut at the Pasadena refinery following the explosion, energy industry intelligence service Genscape said.
Genscape also said all other units at the 100,000 bpd Pasadena Refining System refinery appeared to be operating normally.
Firefighters from the Pasadena and Houston fire departments now have the blaze under control, a police spokesperson said.
