Fake Colgate toothpaste from Far East caught by Health Ministry

Toothpaste packages labeled “Colgate” but imported from China and Thailand without a license and without the required translation of the label into Hebrew have been seized in recent days by the Health Ministry.

It warned the public against buying these because their components and safety cannot be ensured. The ministry also asked that those who have purchased them report the products to the authorities (Kol Habriut at *5400). The majority of Colgate products, which have labels with Hebrew translation, are fully authorized.
