Father convicted of manslaughter in 'shaken twins' affair

The Tel Aviv District Court on Thursday convicted the father for manslaughter in the "shaking twins" affair which led to the death of a four-month-old baby and injuries to another in January 2012.
The father was indicted for manslaughter in 2012, but not the mother in the shaking of the twins.
The investigation started shortly after the twins were brought to the hospital when the National Council of the Child called on police to investigate whether the twins hospitalized at Sheba Medical Center with bone fractures were victims of “shaken baby” syndrome.
