Federal Shutdown longest in American history, now entering 22'd day

 The US Federal Government entered the 22'd day of shutdown on Saturday, making it the longest shutdown in American history, NPR reported.
800.000 federal workers were not paid this month, causing a strain in airport security across the US and hardships for the families of Coast Guards.
