Feinstein: Major war on America's part if Israel attacked

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) on Sunday said that "America has Israel's back," after Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear in recent interviews that he is unhappy with the terms of a nuclear agreement  struck between world powers and the Islamic Republic, claiming the deal poses the "biggest security problem" facing the Jewish State.
Feinstein added that if Israel were to be assailed "this would be major war on [America's] part."
While speaking to the Face the Nation Sunday morning talk show program, the top Democrat on the Senate intelligence committee and supporter of the nuclear agreement attempted to assuage any reservations Netanyahu might have about the recent agreement.
"I think it's pretty clear to everybody that America has Israel's back. We give huge amounts of money, $25 billion dollars, we give security help, help with the Iron Dome, help with other sophisticated programs, precision weapons," adding  "if Israel were to be attacked, this would be major war on our part."
