Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz: Israel may soon join OECD

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz met his Mexican counterpart Jose Angel Gurria Thursday and was impressed that Israel has a good chance to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which Gurria currently heads. Steinitz also met French Finance Minister, Christine Legarde, and with the Russian Minister for Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina. Steinitz asked Nabiullina that Russia reexamine the issue of implementing economic sanctions against Iran and the issue of anti-aircraft missile sales to Russia.
