Firefighters gain control of Deir Hanna brush fire, no injuries reported

Firefighters reported on Saturday afternoon that they have gained control over the brush fire which broke out near Deir Hanna.
Evactuated residents have been permitted to return to their homes, none of which have been damaged.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon, a brush fire broke out near the northern neighborhood of the village of Deir Hanna in the Galilee area of northern Israel on Saturday afternoon.
Israeli police officers were called to the scene, deciding, together with the fire brigade, to evacuate buses from a nearby parking lot and to evacuate the first line of houses near the fire, due to the thick smoke and in order to prevent danger. No injuries were reported.
