First cases of fast-spreading US coronavirus variant diagnosed in Israel

The first case of a worrying new, faster-spreading variant of COVID-19 which was recently discovered in the United States, has now been diagnosed in Israel, Israel's Health Ministry reported on Sunday evening.

The man reportedly came into Israel from Los Angeles, and has since infected at least four people.
