One person was seriously injured and 10 others lightly-to-moderately hurt on Sunday in a car crash involving five vehicles near Beersheba. Magen David Adom medics, together with firefighters who had to extract one of the passengers from a burning car, evacuated the injured to Soroka Hospital. An initial investigation into the incident found that one of the cars hit another vehicle making its way from the east. A third car attempting to overtake the accident collided with an oncoming vehicle. A fifth car crashed into the other vehicles that remained in the lane.
