Five injured, 1 seriously, in collision on Route 60

Five people were injured in a collision between two vehicles on Route 60 near the Machmesh passage on Friday.

One person was seriously injured, one moderately injured and three others were lightly hurt.

MDA paramedics treated three of the injured people, evacuating them to Haddasah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem while the other two injured parties were treated by Red Crescent paramedics and evacuated to hospital in the Palestinian Authority.

The accident followed an earlier crash at the same junction in which six people were lightly injured.
