Floods expected in southern Israel, hikers warned not to dip in the water

Floods are expected in southern Israel and the Judean desert creeks during the upcoming week, the Israel Meteorological Service warned on Monday.
Hikers were warned not to enter creeks by foot or using their vehicles, nor to stand on the banks of creeks due to the risk of sudden collapses along the banks due to the powerful currents.
Hikers were also advised to stay tuned to weather reports on the IMS site and other news outlets.
