Former chief rabbi to testify in court for first time

Former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Eliahu Bakshi-Doron, will testify Monday morning in the Rishon lezion Magistrate court.
Bakshi-Doron is to testify for the prosecution in a trial of Rabbis accused of forging Rabbinical certificates in exchange for bribery.
This marks the first time ever that a person that held the position of a Chief Rabbi has been called to testify in court.
