Former deputy interior minister charged after corruption probe

Police have charged Former Deputy Interior Minister Faina Kirschenbaum following a year-long investigation into alleged bribery felonies.
Nine other people were charged alongside her.
The graft-related investigation is being referred to as one of the biggest corruption cases in the history of the state. The former Yisrael Beyteinu lawmaker is accused of actively seeking out bribes from public institutions, NGOs and private companies and individuals.
