Former deputy Mossad chief David Kimche passes away at 82

David Kimche, who served as deputy chief of the Mossad and later as director-general of the Foreign Ministry, passed away overnight Monday at the age of 82.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressed on Tuesday morning his “deep sorrow on the passing of Dave Kimche z”l, who filled a broad variety of positions essential to the State of Israel, the security community and the foreign service, with great talent and huge dedication.”
“Dave’s personality combined elegance and patriotism, sophistication and the love of man,” the premier said.
