Israel is expected to receive as many as two million doses of the Pfizer vaccine in its first shipment, many more than originally assumed. Health Ministry director-general reportedly told health funds that Israel would receive the Pfizer vaccine in two shipments of 2 million vaccines each, as early as late December or the beginning of January. Chezy estimated that health insurance providers would begin to vaccinate just a few weeks after receiving the shipment.
