A four-year-old boy fell to his death from his family’s apartment building in Beersheba on Sunday afternoon, while he was playing at home with his mother and siblings.
Negev police said that officers responding to the scene found a four-year-old boy lying in critical condition on the ground beneath the apartment building on Shaul Hamelech Street in the city.
Magen David Adom paramedic Ronen Grizek said that when paramedics arrived at the scene “we found a 4-year-old boy unconscious with serious internal injuries. We gave him first aid on the scene and evacuated him in critical condition to Soroka Hospital.”
The child died not long after he was taken from the scene. There were no security bars on the windows of the family’s 8th story apartment.
Negev police said they have opened an investigation into the incident.
