France asks Israel not to freeze PA tax transfer, MK shocked

The French government is asking Israel to reconsider freezing the transfer of tax money to the Palestinian Authority, Channel 12 reported and one Member of Knesset is shocked. MK Avi Dichter, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and initiator of a law to freeze transfers to the PA stated on Monday "I was shocked to hear President Macron instruct Israel to stop the freezing of funds according to the law I passed in the Knesset together with MK Elazar Stern."
"How is it possible that President Macron has not a word to say about the Palestinian law requiring them to pay salaries to terrorists, but he complains about the law MK Stern and I passed," he questioned.
