The military head of the Free Syrian Army told BBC that thousands of Hezbollah fighters have been "invading" Syria and participating in attacks in the embattled border town of Qusayr, it was reported Thursday.According to the chief of the Syrian rebel group, more than 7,000 Hezbollah fighters were involved in the violence in the rebel-held town, BBC cited Gen Selim as stating. According to the report, the foreign minister of France projected 3,000-4,000 members of the Lebanese Shi'ite fighters taking part in the conflict in Qusayr.On Thursday, Syrian rebels pleaded for military and medical aid in the Qusayr, saying they were unable to evacuate hundreds of wounded under an onslaught from government forces backed by Lebanese Hezbollah fighters.Reuters contributed to this report.
