French ambassador to Israel: Fight against IS is our priority

Fighting Islamic State is France's priority, said French ambassador to Israel Patrick Maisonnave on Wednesday at The Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference. He added, however that Syrian President Bashar Assad cannot present the future of Syria. "Very few would accept such a scenario," he asserted, stating that France is still committed to Syria as one country.
Maisonnave's comments came after a one minute's silence was held for the victims of the Paris attacks last weekend.
