SAN BERNARDINO - A fugitive former police officer whose charred remains were found in a burned-out California mountain cabin following a standoff died from a possibly self-inflicted gunshot wound, a San Bernardino County Sheriff's spokesman said on Friday.Coroner's examiners have not yet determined who fired the shot that killed 33-year-old Christopher Dorner, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Capt. Kevin Lacy said."The information we have seems to indicate that the wound that took Christopher Dorner's life was self inflicted," he said.
