Future airport in North will damage fields, warns agriculture ministry

The construction of the airport in Ramat David was discouraged by the ministry of agriculture in a document claiming the airport will damage surrounding agricultural land in the Jezreel Valley.
The airport, which will be an extension of Ben-Gurion Airport will affect as much as 185,000 dunams of land, which belong to 11 villages in the area.
