Gafni: Knesset C'tee drafted bill from Trajtenberg report

United Torah Judaism (UTJ) MK Moshe Gafni praised the Trajtenberg Committee for Socioeconomic Change's diligent report, and said that the Knesset Finance Committee has "proposed a bill here that is a major part of the report."

"There are some things I agree with and some things I disagree with," Gafni said.

"We are going to discuss this and prepare this law regardless of what the government says. We may make decisions about reforms in taxation."

The Knesset committee was meeting over the Trajtenberg Committee's recommendations after a vote on the report was delayed due to protest within the coalition.
