Gantz: Amos was a man of pain as well as a man of vision.

"It is not for me, a literary ignorant, to speak of one of our greatest authors, but I will dare and say that Amos was a man of dream, a man of life, a man of imagination and a man who looked at life with confidence. Amos was a man of pain as well as a man of vision," Benny Gantz praised. "Amos's interweaving of literary existence, as well as the reality of our lives was stunningly cunning and beautiful. It was pleasant to read, listen and internalize his words. With great pain I received the news of his death, and I thank the time I spent in his presence in the last few years and the incites he gave me. I bow my head and say my partings with great love."
