Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz announced on Thursday that the appointment of Amit Isman as interim state attorney is extended for another four months.
He said that a permanent attorney should be appointed, but that cannot be done due to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's veto. Netanyahu wanted to appoint an "attorney of his taste."
As this is a conflict of interest, Gantz decided to extend his role in the position.
