Gantz: IDF committed to bringing back all captive soldiers

IDF chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz on Tuesday sent a letter to IDF soldiers and commanders in the aftermath of the release of Gilad Schalit, saying that the IDF was obligated and committed to finding all missing soldiers and bringing home all captive soldiers.

"We will continue to do all in our power to bring everyone that is missing baco to our country," Gantz wrote in the letter. "We will turn over every stone and check every bit of information to keep this commitment to opur brothers in arms," he added.

Gantz added that he was proud of Schalit for perservering and surviving in captivity.
