Gaza's lone power plant shut off due to lack of fuel

Gaza's sole power plant halted operations on Friday after a lack of fuel caused it to shut down just 12 days after it resumed activity following a seven-week shutdown, AFP reported.
"The plant stopped working on Friday morning due to a lack of fuel caused by Israel's closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing," said an official from the Strip's electricity company.
