German fair to feature ‘Jewish Quarter’

A medieval renaissance fair near Nuremberg will, for the first time, feature a “Jewish Quarter” focusing on Jewish history in Germany, organizers announced this week.
The Jewish section of the Medieval Christmas Market in the city of Fürth will highlight Jewish life dating back 1,000 years.
The quarter will open on Monday.
Visitors can have their names written in Hebrew calligraphy and can study literature about Jewish history in the region.
