German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said Thursday that the EU will pass a comprehensive package of sanctions aimed at strangling Iran's nuclear program financially. "We must continue increasing pressure on Iran," he said. "In the coming days, the European Union will finalize a comprehensive sanctions package aimed at the heart of the Iranian nuclear program, meaning its financial sources."
