Germany arrests 3 suspected al Qaida members

BERLIN - Germany said it had faced a "concrete and imminent danger" after police arrested three suspected members of al Qaida on Friday.
The Bild newspaper reported that officers had seized large amounts of explosives when the three were arrested.
"We succeeded in preventing a concrete and imminent danger," Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich said in a statement. "This proves that Germany continues to be in the crosshairs of international terrorists, and we need to remain vigilant."
