Germany plans to stop migrant boats from crossing Mediterranean

Germany is proposing a plan to stop migrants from crossing the Mediterranean in order to stop large number of migrants from dying.
The German government is pushing for maritime patrols to pick up migrants and refugees, and send them back to apply for asylum in African countries.
"We want to do this together with France and Great Britain - we@@@re not going to wait for all 28 EU member states - we want to act with the states who have already recognized the problem. We decided on Mali and Niger. A concept is on the table, in cooperation with Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and Morocco," Gerd Muller German Minister for International Development said on Friday.
Turkey and the EU agreed to a similar deal months ago. It has almost completely stopped the boats, but some have questioned its legality.
