Hagihon, TaKaDu sign contract for Jerusalem water management

Hagihon Company Ltd., The Jerusalem Region Water and Wastewater Utility, signed a three-year contract extension this week with water network management firm TaKaDu, to continue joint services for the Jerusalem region.
The companies signed the extension following a four-year period of providing integrated water network solutions to residents of Jerusalem, Mevasseret and Abu Ghosh. TaKaDu's web-based service, which transforms raw data into actionable insights about water quality, leakage, network and pressure issues, provides support to Hagihon's operational decision-making on a daily basis, the companies said.
Hagihon CEO Zohar Yinon praised TaKaDu's technology for significantly improving Hagihon's operational efficiency over the past four years, enabling educated real-time decisions. “Prior to TaKaDu, we had enormous amounts of data, but we were not capable of maximizing its benefits," Yinon said. "With TaKaDu, we make optimal use of this data, ensuring high quality service while minimizing service interruptions to the public.”
