Hamas accuses Israel of escalating violence

Gaza terror group Hamas accused Israel of escalating violence by attacking unarmed protesters and resistance members overnight Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the group on Wednesday morning, its spokesperson said the IDF's strike on its positions "led to a rapid response by the Palestinian resistance," referring to a volley of rockets fired by the group towards Southern Israel.

"Everything that results form the Zionist occupier's stupid behavior proves that its policies are miscalculations doomed to fail. It will pay for the consequences," the statement added.
