Hamas refusing to accept Qatari money due to Israeli restrictions

Israeli restrictions on who can handle money is reportedly the reason Hamas has refused to accept the third installment of cash from Qatar. A senior Hamas official told the Al-Akhbar daily the Hamas refusal is because Israel has updated its list of Gaza officials barred from processing money transfers. The ban is intended to prevent the cash transfers from ending up being used for terrorist activities.
Israel has suggested that Hamas deliver food and supplies directly to needy Gaza families instead.
