Haredi men nabbed for smuggling cocaine

Two haredi men were arrested at Ben-Gurion Airport by the 747 anti-drugs smuggling unit on Wednesday evening on suspicion of smuggling 10.5 kg. of pure cocaine from Brazil, with an estimated street value of $1 million. The suspects attempted to fool law enforcement by removing their kippot and maintaining a low profile, police said.
The suspects, recent yeshiva graduates aged 20 and 21 from Bnei Brak, were sent to Brazil by a third man, a resident of Kfar Chabad, police suspect.
