After a months-long lull in protests at the Karta municipal parking lot near Jerusalem's Old City, some 20 haredi demonstrators arrived at the site on Saturday evening and attempted to block vehicles from entering the lot, a police spokesman said.
Security forces who responded to the scene dispersed the crowd and no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile on Saturday evening, some 150 haredim gathered on Shivtei Yisrael street in the capital's Mea Shearim neighborhood to protest Shabbat desecration in the capital.
