Head Iranian negotiator: Geneva deal to be implemented in late January

The interim deal signed between Iran and six world powers and meant to curb the Islamic Republic's nuclear program will start being implemented in late January, Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported on Tuesday.
"A clearly-set time to start enforcing the Geneva deal has been offered, and would be in the third quarter of January," the head of the Iranian nuclear team Hamid Baeidi-Nejad was quoted as saying.
He clarified, however, that the final decision on the date to start implementing the deal was up to the political leaders of both sides.
The two sides have reached mutual understandings and share similar viewpoints, Baeidi-Nejad added.
