Head of IDF intelligence research: Assad used sarin gas

The regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad used sarin gas on opposition forces in the civil war raging in his country, the head of research at military intelligence, Brig.-Gen. Itay Brun said at the iNSS conference at Tel Aviv University on Tuesday morning.
Brun said there is an increasing use of chemical weapons, and that the Syrian army is firing hundreds of rockets and missiles at civilians.
