The Health Ministry announced on Sunday they will investigate an incident of misidentification of a woman who died from COVID-19.
The mistaken identity incident occurred at the coronavirus ward of an unnamed geriatric hospital in central Israel.
The Health Ministry noted a delegation of officials was sent to the families of the misidentification victims to apologize.
