Heavy rains, flooding close roads and schools in South

Due to heavy rains and flooding, several roads were closed in the South on Thursday morning, including Route 90 from Ein Bokek in the direction of Ein Gedi.
Schools in the Tamar local council near the Dead Sea were closed for the day, according to Israel Radio.
According to the Beit Dagan weather service, the Dead Sea got 35 ml. Between 35-45 ml. of rain fell in the Negev, and up to 70 ml. in the Shfela basin. The coastline and northern Israel were spared heavy rain, receiving around 20 ml. or less.
