Herzog agrees to serve as opposition leader under Gabbay

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog announced Wednesday that he would be willing to remain in office under incoming Labor chairman Avi Gabbay. Gabbay, who won the party primaries on Monday cannot officially serve as opposition leader because he is not a member of Knesset. Herzog had previously rejected a proposal by Gabbay to fill the role.
