Opposition leader Isaac Herzog on Monday accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of "endangering the most basic existential interests of the state of Israel."Speaking at a Labor faction meeting, Herzog called on Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Finance Minister Yair Lapid to leave Netanyahu's coalition."It's still not too late to fix this. Join me and we will take steps that will change the dangerous direction in which the state is going," Herzog said."The time has come to replace Likud rule and bring the Labor Party back to power," he added.
