Herzog: EU plans to label settlement products a 'dangerous and grave' threat

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Labor) on Monday criticized as a " dangerous and grave" threat, European Union's plans to label products made in settlements over the Green Line.
The Labor leader's remarks denouncing the expected move came after a senior European Union official told Army Radio that by mid-October the body would begin labeling imported goods produced in Israeli settlements.
"Whomever wants peace or security in the region needs to engage in advancing dialogue and initiatives - not threats and boycotts," he underlined in a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Børge Brende.
