Herzog to FM of Luxembourg: BDS movement is 'unacceptable and hypocritical'

Opposition leader MK Isaac Herzog met Sunday with the Foreign Minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn, who has previously participated in the calls for a boycott of Israeli products.
"In every shape and form, the boycott of Israel is unacceptable and hypocritical," said Herzog. "We should cease the use of these unnecessary methods which lead to a dead end. This is an error Europe should not make if it wants to bring about a real change in the Middle East."
Herzog furthered his statements by saying that the BDS movement would not lead to a diplomatic breakthrough nor a settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.
Herzog also addressed the issue of the growing refugee crisis, saying that Luxembourg and other European countries must initiate an international conference to deal with the current situation.
"We must never be satisfied with what has been said and done so far," said the chairman of the Zionist camp.
